Connells Point Netball

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—I acknowledge Sanjana Anugu, Zoey Antoniou and Sheree Geddes from the Connells Point Netball Club for their outstanding commitment to the organisation and netball more broadly. Sanjana and Zoey are both umpires for the organisation and they regularly officiate matches for local teams. Sanjana herself is the captain of the Under 16 A2 side and Zoey is well renowned for her coaching skills, given her impressive career in netball. Sheree is an outstanding member of the Club and I have always heard good things from committee members, players and their parents about her willingness to help others. All three outstanding individuals were honoured in 2020 with a St George Community Award for their service to the Club and the community. Every year these awards recognise the hard work of men, women and youth across the region who go above and beyond to make our community the best it can be. I thank the trio for all of their hard work over a number of years and I wish them all the best for the season ahead.
