Justice of the Peace services

Our Justice of the Peace Service is available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 11:00am until 12:00pm.

Our Office can assist with certifying copies of original documents (you must bring the original document with you, along with the copy), as well as witnessing a statutory declarations.

Bookings are not necessary, however, if it is a complicated document such as an affidavit, it is recommended you call ahead on (02) 9580 9349. You must also bring a valid form of photo ID with you.

Becoming a JP

As your local State Member of Parliament I can assist you to become a Justice of the Peace (JP).

A JP facilitates the swearing of Affidavits and Statutory Declarations. JPs play an essential part in the legal system and in the community in NSW. By volunteering to become a JP you will be providing a valuable and important service to your community or place of employment
