Bethany Student Leaders

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—Earlier this year I had the pleasure of meeting the new Year 12 student leaders at Bethany College. Bethany College is a school attended by many residents from my electorate of Oatley, and the school provides quality education as well as a vast array of extracurricular activities. Leadership is an important quality to have, and a great quality to develop from a young age. It was my honour to meet the new Year 12 student leaders, and I was impressed by their level of maturity and commitment to their studies and their school. I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to College Captain, Monique Makisi, College Vice‑Captain, Catherine Calavarias, as well as the members of the SRC, House Captains and Prefects. I would like to thank Mrs Rachael Colreavy, Student Leadership Facilitator, for inviting me along to meet the new Year 12 leaders. Each have such bright futures ahead of them and I look forward to hearing about their positive contributions to the school.
