Oatley 101 Society of Artists Visit

—The arts are such an important cornerstone within my community and today, I would like to acknowledge a group who is doing incredible things for our local scene. A big congratulations and thank you to the Oatley 101 Society of Artists! The Oatley 101 Society of Artists have been active in our community since 1997, giving amateur artists the chance to exhibit their work. I recently had the opportunity visit their June Art Sale and I must say, there were some fantastic pieces on display. There were certainly bargains to be had and plenty of happy customers who had picked out some wonderful artworks to take home with them, all of which were original and genuine. A big thank you to the executive committee, including President Jill Hamilton, Vice President and Secretary, Robyn Riley, and Treasurer Julie Izzard. I'd also like to thank all of the general committee members and the artists who continue to support the organisation. I look forward to seeing what the talented artists at Oatley 101 come up with over the coming months and years.
