Mr MARK COURE (Oatley) (18:45):

:19 Recently I had the pleasure of visiting some fantastic year 6 students at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School at Riverwood. I think it is fantastic that students in primary schools have the chance to learn about how government works. I am lucky to have not only the privilege of representing my electorate of Oatley but also some very eager young students wanting to learn about Parliament and government. Some would say the questioning I received was even more testing than question time in this House. I was asked some very good questions. It was great to see the students so interested in our government and how it works. I was also delighted on the day to meet St Joseph's new principal, Mr Steven Darcy. I welcome Mr Darcy to our community and I know the school is in very capable hands. Thank you to Ms Cripps, who is a year 6 teacher at the school, for inviting me to come and chat to the students. I have no doubt that these students are truly the leaders of the future.
