Probus Club of Grandviews

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley) (19:54):

:04 I acknowledge the work of the Probus Club of Grandviews, an active Probus club operating in Peakhurst. The club was established in 1990 and has since grown to more than 100 members. Recently the Probus Club of Grandviews was told it needed to relocate from its usual meeting room. With this move came many costs, including the need to find a location that would accommodate the large number of club members and was fitted with sufficient audio equipment. I am pleased that the State Government has been able to secure a $4,000 grant for the Probus club to assist with the moving costs. This will enable the club to continue to meet and adequately cater to the needs of its members. The Probus Club of Grandviews does great work with the retirees in the community. I look forward to continuing to support the organisation. I thank the club president, Errol Clausen, and all the other club members for their dedication to the spirit of Probus clubs.
