Tonight I acknowledge my former school Marist Catholic College Penshurst, a vibrant dual-campus co-educational school. The school continues with dynamic teaching and personalised learning, and acknowledges every student achieving their personal best. Marist Catholic College Penshurst has continued a proud sporting tradition, with outstanding results in the Sydney Catholic Schools sporting competitions during the course of this year. The school and the community are proud of all students and coaches for their hard work, team spirit and excellent results throughout the competition. The college boasts two Sydney Catholic Schools champion teams: the senior girls netball and the junior girls soccer. A further 10 teams won their conference 3 championships, an outstanding performance across a range of different sports. Well done to all involved in the sports program, a team of sporting stars from the Marist Catholic College Penshurst.
