St Mark's Pre-School Kindergarten

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—I'd like to recognise a local institution within my community – St Mark's Pre-School Kindergarten, as a former student I am always proud to recognise the great work they do. St Mark's Pre-School Kindergarten a not-for-profit organisation that has proudly served my community for over 50 years. It was an honour for me to present a Community Group Achievement Award to St Mark's Pre-School Kindergarten, as part of the annual 2023 St George Community Awards. I've been hosting these awards for 13 years now, and their continued charitable work in our community is truly second-to-none. With a focus on aiding those who need it most, St Mark's Pre-School Kindergarten supports Muscular Dystrophy NSW in their September fund-raising initiative. They do this by holding an annual Heroes Day, with children dressing up as their favourite hero. Not only do children love to participate in this initiative, but all the money goes towards a great cause. St Mark Pre-School Kindergarten also collects food and toys for Anglicare's annual Christmas appeal for those in need. I'd like to thank Alex Kiddle, who received the award on the night, as well as the entire team of staff for their continued efforts.
