Lugarno Public School P&C Association

—Speaker, I rise to recognise one of the most hardworking P&C groups in my local area – Lugarno Public School P&C. It was my absolute privilege to recognise their continued charitable work in the Lugarno Community at 2023 St George Community Awards. They received a well-deserved Community Group Achievement Award. For over 90 years, Lugarno Public School has helped thousands of local kids grow in their learning abilities. The Lugarno P&C has supported the school for much of this time. Lugarno Public School P&C Association have organised numerous functions over the last few years and their charitable work is vital. Not only do they support the school and its body of students, but they also support the broader community. The P&C frequently hosts trivia nights, outdoor movie nights, open days, wine and cheese nights and bingo nights. These are enjoyed by the wider community in Lugarno and throughout the St George area. I'd like to thank Melissa Porter and members of the P&C Committee for their continued charitable work within the St George community. I look forward to working alongside the Lugarno P&C well into the future.
