Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—Speaker, I rise to congratulate Natalie Rose on her recent appointment as the new chief executive officer of Shopfront Arts Co-Op. What a fantastic achievement! Natalie was previously the co-chief executive and creative director of Shopfront. She is currently gearing up for an exciting suite of events and programs in Shopfront's 2024 season, which was announced on November 16th.Their 2024 season will include a co-production between Milk Crate Theatre company and Shopfront's Harness Ensemble, which is incredibly exciting. Milk Crate Theatre Company is another community-based theatre company, whose aim is to achieve social change through the power of performance. Similarly, Harness is a theatre ensemble made up of young artists that are living with disabilities. The co-production between these two companies is going to be a performance that explores the effect of rapid technology growth on the community and life experience. I'm excited to hear that Natalie is also keen to continue the company's mission of amplifying the voices of young people and emerging artists. I would like to congratulate Natalie on her appointment and wish her and Shopfront the best of luck in all their future endeavours.
