Janaranjani Inc. Tenth Anniversary

Community radio is one of the most important ways for locals to stay informed. Today I acknowledge a very significant local radio station in my area, Janaranjani Inc., part of the 2NBC radio program. Running its first broadcast in 2013, recently Janaranjani celebrated 10 wonderful years of broadcasting. That is such an impressive milestone. Not only does Janaranjani aim to keep the community informed about local matters but it also promotes the importance of Telugu and related Indian languages and cultures. I have been a great supporter and friend of this marvellous radio program over many years and have had the privilege of being a guest on the station many times. The work it does in our community is so important. I thank all the broadcasters and hardworking volunteers. Sustaining a community radio show such as this is certainly not easy, yet day after day the dedicated team of volunteers at Janaranjani continue to do a fantastic job. I look forward to watching it continue to grow into the future. I wish them all the best for another 10 years.
