Schools Spectacular 2023

—Speaker, I'd like to congratulate all the schools that participated in the annual Schools Spectacular this year, including a number within the Oatley Electorate. This is a flagship event for our State, showcasing the creativity and talent of students within public schools throughout New South Wales. This year's Schools Spectacular celebrated 40 years of outstanding performances, featuring a 2600-person choir, 2,300 dancers, a stage band, and an orchestra. I'd like to recognise Connells Point Public School, Georges River College Oatley Senior Campus and Peakhurst Campus, Oatley West Public School and Oatley Public School, who all participated in this year's event. The talent we have here in the Oatley Electorate is second to none. I'd also like to thank all the teachers who sacrificed their time to ensure that this year's event was a smashing success! Your hard work and dedication to your students is unmatched. I urge everyone to support all our wonderful local students on stage. The event will be held at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena from the 24th and the 25th of November.
