Mr Hayden Barrington

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley) (18:59:13):

I recognise Mr Hayden Barrington from Sing Australia, who recently announced his retirement from the group. Hayden was a significant contributor to the St George branch, holding the role of conductor for nearly 10 years. I had the opportunity to attend his wonderful farewell concert, held locally at the Peakhurst South Public School Community Hall. There was a fantastic turnout. The group did an amazing job on the evening, and some light refreshments were enjoyed by all following the performance. Whilst it was sad to see Hayden go, there were plenty of locals who had come specifically to see him off. Sing Australia has done fantastic work in communities right across the country, including in the Oatley electorate. The St George branch is made up of an incredible array of talent, performing at gigs whilst promoting the wellbeing of its members and the wider community. I wish Mr Barrington the very best moving forward and would like to thank him once again for his significant contribution to Sing Australia.
