St George Girls High School - Mother Daughter Gala

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—Speaker, I would like to congratulate St George Girls High School for hosting a successful Mother Daughter Gala, a tradition each year in the school calendar. The 70's and 80's themed celebration saw much success by all accounts, with special school performances and prizes donated by local businesses. Events like this ensure that the school can continue to fund important educational initiatives during the learning year. St George Girls High School has been supporting local girls within the Oatley Electorate for over 100 years. As a selective school, they focus on achieving only the very best outcomes for their students. Under the leadership of the Principal, Ms Romeo, the school has always thrived academically and continues to do so to this day. Parents play a vital role in the education of their children, and events like this make it possible for school kids and parents to connect, learn and grow together. I would once again like to congratulate St George Girls High School for their successes and wish them all the very best over the next few years.
