2nd Mortdale Scouts Arp Presentation

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—I would like to acknowledge the 2nd Mortdale Scouts, who recently hosted their Annual Report Presentation evening, of which I had the privilege of attending. This was a fantastic opportunity to meet and engage with members of the community, whilst acknowledging the work that the 2nd Mortdale Scouts do in the local area. It was wonderful to see so many families and local supporters of the Scouts come together to reflect on the last 12 months. Not only does Scouts teach young people valuable life skills, but it also gives them the opportunity to give back to their local community. They have participated in countless ANZAC Day ceremonies and Clean-Up Australia Day initiatives over the years, and this is something I am so proud of. The Scouts are a local institution in Mortdale, and their hard work does not go unnoticed. I'd like to thank Paul Whitwell, the Group Chairman of the 2nd Mortdale Scouts, as well as all the volunteers, and of‑course, the Scouts themselves for their work over the years. I look forward to supporting the 2nd Mortdale Scouts and watching them continue to grow over the coming years.
