Oatley Autumn Market Day

—I rise today to congratulate the Oatley Lions Club, for hosting a successful Community Market Day which had a fantastic turnout! Despite the dreary conditions on the day, the Oatley community showed up in droves to support the Lions Club, small businesses, stalls and other community organisations. It was a wonderful atmosphere, with live music, a community barbecue, and countless stalls selling everything from second-hand books, to candles, to craft. I had a fantastic time attending on the day, as did many others. There were lots of families out and about enjoying their time. A big thanks to the Oatley Lions for hosting such a successful event, as well as their wonderful team of volunteers. These sorts of events would not be possible without your consistent effort and dedication to the local community. I'd also like to thank the organisations who sponsored the event, including Oatley Hotel and Georges River Council. Without your support, this event wouldn't have gone ahead. I look forward to working closely with the Oatley Lions into the future!
