Penshurst West FC – 'back to Olds Day'

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—Speaker, I'd like to congratulate Penshurst West Football Club for the success of their recent event, 'Back to Olds Day', run in conjunction with the Heartbeat of Football association. Held at Olds Park in Penshurst, it was a day of football, friends, fun and food, and I was glad to be able to attend. On offer were some tasty burgers, hot dogs and loaded fries, as well as a special Olds Park Pale Ale, created by the Social Brewers in Mortdale. More importantly, the event was a chance for the Heartbeat of Football association to conduct heart health testing, providing free check ups for players and locals. Heart health is so important, and I'd like to congratulate Andy Paschalidis and all the team at the Heartbeat of Football organisation, for all the work that they do in our local community. I'm so proud of the Penshurst West Football Club for all the wonderful work they do for grassroots sport in our community. I wish them all the best!
