Westfield Local Heroes Finalists

——Speaker, I rise to recognise and congratulate the finalists recently announced as a part of the 2022 Westfield Local Heroes program. Operating for over five years now, the Westfield Local Heroes program shines a spotlight on community heroes who go above and beyond to serve the needs of their local area. Generous community leaders give up so much and expect so little in return. I am so proud of this year's local finalists. The work you do is truly inspirational. I would like to congratulate finalists Jacqui Gildaly from the Burdekin Association, Rhonda Brown from 3Bridges Community, Jane Marsh from St Vincent De Paul, Karen Tsoumbaras from Project Youth, Kaye Palmano from One Meal - It Makes a Difference and finally, Sarah Stanton from Skillz4me. I wish you all the best in your future endeavours and look forward to hearing about all the fantastic work you will continue to do.
