——Speaker, I rise today to congratulate a fantastic organisation within our community, SDN Riverwood, who recently received a 2021 St George Community Group Achievement Award. SDN Children's Education and Care Centre has been operating since 1905, providing care to the local community in 1947 when the Riverwood branch was first opened. Their primary focus is the wellbeing, learning and development of children within the local community, all within an inclusive educational environment. SDN Riverwood consistently collaborate with community groups, local council and stakeholders within the community in order to drive a culture of change. For example, they recently worked with the local council and community in order to build a new crossing out the front of their centre. It is so refreshing to have a community organisation within our local area that operates to such a high calibre. I am immensely proud of all the fantastic work they do for the children within our area. I would again like to congratulate SDN for receiving this award, and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
