Bob Lee's 100th Birthday

Mr MARK COURE (OatleyMinister for Multiculturalism, and Minister for Seniors)

——Speaker, I rise to acknowledge and congratulate a local hero, Mr Bob Lee, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday last year. Surrounded by family and friends, Bob celebrated his 100th birthday in style at the Georges River Sailing Club. Speaker, it was a real privilege to attend this celebration and present Bob with a certificate and say a few words in his honour. At 100 years of age, Bob is still a hugely active member of the St George Community, in everything from local rotaries to the Oatley Seniors group and everything in between. Bob's wealth of knowledge and wisdom makes him a most treasured individual in our local community. On this momentous occasion, Bob and his family and friends had the chance to reflect on a lifetime of experiences and achievements. I wish Bob and his extended family all the best for this year, may it be a year of health and happiness.
