Hurstville Golf Clubhouse Officially Opens

The Hurstville Golf Course Clubhouse has officially opened providing a much needed space for the community to enjoy.

Hurstville Golf Course which is located on Lorraine Street in Peakhurst Heights has been calling out for upgrades to their greens and clubhouse.

Now thanks to the former Coalition State and Federal Government's investment of $2 million and $1.3 million respectively, local golfers now have access to an amazing brand new two-storey clubhouse which offers more space, storage and improved amenities for members and guests.

The new clubhouse features office space, a new pro shop, upgraded amenities, lift access to the club rooms and cart storage. The design for the new clubhouse is thanks to a collaborative effort between Hurstville Golf Club members and Georges River Council.

"This new clubhouse will meet the needs of the Club both now and well into the future, helping to grow our local golfing culture and encourage more people to take up the sport." Mr Coure said.

"Hurstville Golf Club is a local institution and this upgrade is going to transform the course into a high-class facility."
