Happy Mid-Autumn Festival

MESSAGE FROM MARK COURE MP

Shadow Minister for Multiculturalism

Mid-Autumn/Moon Festival

I wish everyone in New South Wales celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival a joyful and happy time.

This important festival is also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, honouring the full moon and celebrating a good harvest.

The Moon Festival provides a time for family, for friends and for community to bond and share stories over moon cakes and uphold age old traditions like displaying laterns, admiring the moon, honouring ancestors and celebrating childhood.

Festivals and occassions like these bring so much to our society whilst enriching the cultural fabric of our great state.

As Shadow Minister for Multiculturalism, I want to wish everyone celebrating this occasion a happy and joyous time.
