Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—Speaker, I rise today to recognise the Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre on achieving an all-time annual attendance record. During the 2025–26 financial year, the centre welcomed an extraordinary 1,333,023 visits, surpassing its previous record of 1,312,205. More than 9,000 people also accessed its programs, services and facilities throughout the year. The Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre is one of our community's most valued recreational facilities. Featuring an aquatic centre, gym and indoor stadium, it provides fitness, sporting and recreational opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. Whether learning to swim, training, competing or simply staying active, local residents rely on the centre to support their health and wellbeing. This milestone also reflects the centre's important role in bringing people together and strengthening community connections. I congratulate all the dedicated staff, instructors and lifeguards whose hard work has contributed to this outstanding result. Most importantly, I thank the local community for its continued support and wish the Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre every success for the future.
