St George Art Society Artreach Exhibition

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—Speaker, I would like to recognise the outstanding contribution of the St George Art Society and congratulate its members on another successful ArtReach exhibition at the historic Tempe House in Wolli Creek. Held annually, ArtReach brings together talented local artists to showcase a diverse range of works in one of our region's most significant heritage buildings. I was pleased to attend the exhibition opening and see the incredible art on display. This year's exhibition, ArtReach '26, was held at Tempe House, a landmark dating back to the 1830s and originally designed to house an extensive art collection, making it a fitting venue for the exhibition. For many years now, the St George Art Society has played an important role in encouraging artistic expression whilst also providing opportunities for both emerging and established artists to share their work. I would like to congratulate President Jan Schuster-Callus, the committee and all participating artists on another wonderful exhibition and thank them for the valuable contribution they continue to make to our local arts scene.
