Alicia Langley
Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)
—Speaker, I would like to congratulate former Oatley resident, Alicia Langley, who recently moved to New York City to pursue an acting career. As a former student of Oatley West Public School and Marist Catholic College Penshurst, Alicia received a talent scholarship to attend the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and made the move to the United States at just 20 years old. After graduating with a degree in Acting for Film and Television, she has appeared in several major advertising campaigns, as well as in film and television. American audiences may recognise her from a nationwide advertising campaign for Chase Bank, while she has also appeared in campaigns for AXE and KFC. More recently, she completed filming for a new drama series in New York and New Jersey. Later this year, Alicia is set to begin filming her first major feature film called Chandler the Handler, which highlights the impact of cyberbullying. I would like to congratulate Alicia on all of her fantastic achievements and wish her every success as she continues to pursue her acting career.
