Sienna, Georgie and Bailey Latanis

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—Speaker, I rise to recognise three fantastic young sporting stars in our local area, Sienna, Georgie and Bailey Latanis. Their recent achievements in sport and community service are a fantastic credit to themselves and our local area. Sienna recently competed at the Australian Athletics Championships in Brisbane, where she placed third in the Under-18 Shot Put. Following this impressive performance, she was selected to represent Australia at the Oceania Championships in Darwin, where she placed fifth in the Shot Put event. Bailey has also achieved sporting success, earning selection to represent Greece at the upcoming Under-19 Rugby League European Cup, which will be held in the south of France in July. Meanwhile, Georgie has been named a finalist for Young Junior Coach of the Year at the 2026 NSW Sports Awards. She has also become the youngest Vice President of the St George Little Athletics Centre while continuing her extensive volunteer work within the organisation. I congratulate Sienna, Bailey and Georgie on their remarkable achievements and wish them every success in their future endeavours.
