—Speaker, I would like to recognise a fantastic local business owner and one that has certainly made a difference in our community, Filippo Navarra. Filippo is head of the Navarra Group, which owns and operates hospitality venues right across New South Wales, including the Conca D'oro right here in Riverwood! Filippo's journey is nothing short of extraordinary. He arrived in Australia as a 17-year-old Italian immigrant, balancing three jobs to make ends meet, before opening his first hospitality venue with his late wife, Sarina. This year, the Navarra family are celebrating their 50th anniversary, having built up the business during that time. They are now the proud owners of a number of different hospitality venues right across New South Wales. I would like to thank Mr Filippo Navarra, as well as the entire Navarra family and team, who have continued to invest in our local community by creating local jobs. Local business is the cornerstone of the St George Community, and I will always welcome and celebrate business owners for the contributions they have made.
