Roma Pizza

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley) (18:07:02):

I recognise an outstanding local business in South Hurstville, Roma Pizza, which is a long-time Coure family favourite. This year Roma Pizza is celebrating an incredible 65 years of service to my community. For more than six decades, the Russo family have not only served up some of the best pizza in Sydney but also created a welcoming space that brings people together. Their dedication to quality food, exceptional service and a strong community spirit has made Roma Pizza an institution in my local area. Small businesses like Roma Pizza are the backbone of our communities. The Russo family's commitment and hard work over the years exemplify the very best of local business. I will never forget how during the pandemic the team from Roma Pizza hosted a live how-to-make-lasagne class on Facebook for everyone to watch, which I participated in. As we celebrate this milestone, I congratulate the entire team at Roma Pizza. I thank them for their service to my community, for their generosity and for keeping traditions alive. I hope that the next 65 years are just as successful.

TEMPORARY SPEAKER (Mr Alex Greenwich):

I now feel like pizza.
