—Speaker, I would like to acknowledge a fantastic individual within my local community, Don Kibble. As a part of the St George Art Society, Don has made significant contributions to our local art scene. Serving in multiple roles including President and Vice President since 2001, Don's leadership at the St George Art Society has helped it to thrive. He is always willing to help out wherever he may be needed. Over the years, Don has helped to organise countless exhibitions, workshops and demonstrations. He has also assisted in fundraising efforts to support the club and other local institutions, including a donation of thousands of dollars to St George Hospital for the purchase of new equipment. I recently had the opportunity to award Don with a 2024 St George Community Award for his hard work over the last few years. It was fantastic to see his friends, family and the team from the St George Art Society show their support. Once again, I would like to thank Don Kibble for his contributions to our community. I wish him all the very best as he continues to inspire others through art.
