Ladies Probus Club of Grandviews

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—Speaker, I rise to pay tribute and acknowledge the Grandview Ladies Probus Club, which, unfortunately, is closing its doors after recently celebrating its 33rd anniversary. For over three decades, this club has served as a space for individuals to develop strong connections, make friendships, and find support in one another. Many local women have benefited from this wonderful initiative. Whilst it is certainly saddening that the Club will cease, their efforts in our community are worth so much and they have had some wonderful achievements over the years. Probus clubs are so important in keeping our seniors engaged, active and socially connected. I encourage all members, past and present, to continue meeting together and staying active in our community. I would like to recognise the leadership of President Jenny Crockett for her years of service, along with her executive team, who have worked tirelessly to keep the club going strong. Thank you to all members, past and present, who have been a part of the club over the years. Our community is richer because of your efforts.
