Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—Speaker, I rise to acknowledge an exceptional individual in my local community, Graeme Press. Living in Mortdale, Graeme is leading the NSW Fire and Rescue Band as the conductor of the Beat the Burn Charity Concert. The concert is to be held on 28 September 2024 at the Pavilion Performing Arts Centre in Sutherland. It is dedicated to raising funds for burn victims at the Children's Hospital at Westmead. This fantastic initiative started in 2006 and has raised much-needed funds to help bring relief to countless young Australians suffering from life-altering burns. Graeme's involvement with this great cause shows that he is a true-community leader. Might I add, this is just one of Graeme's many remarkable achievements. Throughout his stellar career, Graeme has been a performer in many sell-out tours. From 2009 to 2022, he was also the Music Director for Channel 7's Carols in the Domain. I would like to commend Graeme on his charitable work which will positively impacts many lives, in our community and throughout New South Wales. I wish him all the very best.
