Lets go Greek Festival 2023

—Speaker, I recently had the opportunity to attend the 'Let's Go Greek' Festival at Parramatta this past weekend, and I must say, I had a wonderful time. The Let's Go Greek Festival celebrates cultural diversity and Greek heritage in a family-friendly way, attracting 30,000 to 35,000 festival goers each year. I was joined by my wife Adla and my two kids, James and Sammy, who all thoroughly enjoyed the event. There was so much on offer, including live music, carnival rides, stalls and a range of delicious Greek treats, such as loukemades, lamb souvlaki and Greek coffee. It was wonderful to see so many people out and about, enjoying themselves whilst supporting local businesses. Multiculturalism is the cornerstone of our great state, and events like the 'Let's Go Greek' Festival help to showcase aspects of Greek culture to the wider community. I would like to thank Kos Dimitriou, President of the Hellenic Orthodox Community of Parramatta, as well as the entire committee behind the Let's Go Greek Festival for hosting another successful event. I look forward to attending again next year!
