——Speaker, I rise today to thank a wonderful member of our community who has served us so well, the Editor of the St George Leader, Craig Thomson. Craig has recently accepted a role as the Editor for the Australian Community Media's South East Queensland masthead. Since starting as an Editor with the Leader in January of 2020, Craig has helped keep the community informed as we navigated through some tough times. Whilst the COVID-19 pandemic was certainly difficult for all of us, Craig and his team at the Leader ensured that the community was kept up to date on important news events. Craig has promoted the journalistic values of honesty, integrity, accuracy and fairness, delegating tasks to journalists and collaborating with them on newsworthy issues. Craig is a truly accomplished leader, and his years of experience will help Australian Community Media to meet their organisational goals. I would again like to congratulate Craig on this position, and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
