Arncliffe Aurora Football Club

——Speaker, I rise today to thank Arncliffe Aurora Football Club for a wonderful Business Partners Dinner and to wish them luck in their upcoming season. I recently attended the Business Partners Dinner and I must say, I had an absolutely fantastic evening. It was great to speak at this event and it was also great to meet with the chair of Football St George, Irene Hatzipetros, who does outstanding work in the local sporting community. Established in 1991, Arncliffe Aurora Football Club promotes a social sporting environment for children and youth who live in Arncliffe and surrounding areas. They look to improve both mental and physical health, as well as disciplinary skills through participation in this wonderful sport. Grassroots soccer clubs are truly the heart of our local sporting community. It is such a pleasure to see organisations like Football St George and Arncliffe Aurora Football Club operating to such a high calibre within my electorate, and I am so proud of the work they do. I look forward to supporting local soccer clubs like Arncliffe Aurora Football Club into the future, and wish them all the best in the upcoming season.
