Lugarno Public School Air-Conditioner Upgrade

Mr MARK COURE (OatleyMinister for Multiculturalism, and Minister for Seniors)

——Speaker, I rise today to acknowledge an important upgrade to a fantastic school in my local area. I recently had the pleasure of congratulating Lugarno Public School on receiving $14,000 to purchase a series of air-conditioning units which will be placed in their school hall. The funding for this upgrade was facilitated by the New South Wales Government's Community Building Partnership Grants. This important upgrade will improve the comfort of students and teachers when events such as school assemblies are held in the hall. Speaker, I also had the pleasure of presenting P&C members Jo Galea, Michelle Ametson and Louise Cuthbert with a 2021 St George Community Award to recognise their outstanding service to the Lugarno Public School community. I would like to thank all the teachers, students and parents at Lugarno Public School for all of their hard work and dedication, with a special mention to Principal Justine Williams who does a fantastic job over at Lugarno.
