Riverwood Community Centre

— Riverwood Community Centre has a long, proud history in my community, spanning over 40 years. While providing a range of valuable and high-quality programs for individuals, families and community groups in a caring, inclusive environment, it encourages, empowers and supports the local community with respect and celebrates our rich cultural diversity, embraces our volunteers, and encourages participation, connection and inclusion within our local community. It has a passionate board and an equally passionate team of skilled staff members and more than 100 valued volunteers. I acknowledge on record the CEO, David Elkins; along with board members, led by Karl Saleh; Pauline Gallagher, who is a long-term CEO of Riverwood Community Centre; and Robert Furolo, who is a former member of this place. Many people in our local community know that I will be fighting for upgrades to Riverwood Community Centre in the not-too-distant future.
