Lugarno Public School

Mr MARK COURE (OatleyMinister for Multiculturalism, and Minister for Seniors)

——Speaker, I rise to congratulate Lugarno Public School on opening their new nature play space which has been funded in part by the NSW Government. Thanks to the NSW Government's generous contribution, the school and their P&C were able to utilise the cumulative funding to create an outstanding space for children to learn and play. The nature play space at Lugarno Public School includes a natural river system, native flora and fauna, as well as a leafy outlook that encourages students to explore and discover. I wish to thank the Principal of Lugarno Public School, Justine Williams, as well as P&C President, Melissa Porter, for all of their hard work in arranging the design and construction processes of this project. It was my absolute pleasure to attend the grand opening of the nature play space and hear from students and teachers about the benefits of this space within the school environment. I look forward to delivering more important projects at Lugarno Public School alongside Melissa and Justine in the future.
