Oatley RSL Youth Club – Gymnastics

Mr MARK COURE (OatleyMinister for Multiculturalism, and Minister for Seniors)

——Speaker, I rise to congratulate the Oatley RSL Youth Gymnastics Club who have recently received a critical funding injection from the NSW Government. Thanks to the Local Sports Grants program, the organisation has received much needed funding to upgrade their website and allow more individuals to receive coaching accreditation. This is fantastic news for the Oatley RSL Youth Gymnastics Club as they are a growing organisation who are always welcoming new and energetic members. It was an honour to drop into one of their Tuesday night training sessions to announce the funding whilst also catching up with Janelle Bulmer, Katrina Holdsworth and the team. The Oatley RSL Youth Gymnastics Club is home to an array of up and coming sporting champions and this funding will allow the organisation to continue to grow and develop their elite performers. The Local Sports Grants program is continuing to deliver fantastic results for sporting organisations and local communities across the State. I look forward to providing more important investments in local sporting groups across the St George region again later this year.
