Oatley Park

Mr MARK COURE (OatleyMinister for Multiculturalism, and Minister for Seniors)

——I rise to announce that the brand new amenities precinct at Oatley Park is now officially open. These state of the art facilities are fantastic news for the countless community organisations and local residents that utilise Oatley Park. It was a pleasure to join Member for Banks, David Coleman and representatives from Georges River Council to officially open these facilities to the public. The new amenities block includes: male and female restrooms; improved wheelchair access; sporting club facilities; two change rooms; a canteen; and plenty of storage options. I know that President, Jeremy Babb and the entire team at the All Saints Oatley West Football Club are particularly excited about these upgrades, as are a number of local residents who utilise the space for recreation and leisure. These upgrades can also facilitate an increase in female participation by giving local women access to the premier changing rooms and facilities that they deserve. I have no doubt that these facilities will be cherished and appreciated by the entire community well into the future.
