ACE Gutters

—Speaker, earlier this year I had the privilege of touring Ace Gutters in Mortdale which is one of Australia's largest providers of steel products. I wish to thank Chief Executive Officer of Ace Gutters, Don Anderson, for giving me a complete tour of the site. From shaping to painting and everything in between, all of this work is done in Mortdale with the help of over 150 employees. Our Government is committed to supporting local businesses like Ace Gutters because they not only provide products and services, they also stimulate our local economy through employment opportunities. The work of Ace Gutters is simply incredible. They have been in operation now for over 60 years and their products are sent throughout Australia. Their factory complex covers an impressive 1.9 hectares or 4.7 acres and this includes their in-house plumbing store, powder coating facilities, showroom and administrative team. Don is an outstanding individual whose knowledge on the product is second to none. I once again want to thank Don and the team at Ace Gutters for all of their outstanding work.
