Jubilee Community Services

Mr MARK COURE (Oatley)

—Speaker, I rise to recognise Jubilee Community Services in Mortdale for their continued commitment to early childhood education in our region. I would also like to thank their General Manager, Lance Rickards, for his devotion to the organisation since 2012. Lance entered the not-for-profit sector in 2002 after a distinguished career with News Limited where he performed a number of roles including journalism, project management and training. From there he became a Manager at Disability Services Australia which provides employment for over 650 individuals with disability. In 2020, Jubilee Community Services was successful in obtaining almost $14,000 through the NSW Government's Quality Learning Environments program. This funding was used to provide a brand new sandpit and to waterproof their storage unit. As you can imagine, students have loved these new facilities and I was lucky enough to check it out with Lance and the team earlier in the year. I wish everyone at Jubilee Community Services all the best for a strong finish to another fantastic year.
