With the current stay at home orders placing additional financial pressures on local workers, residents and their families, Member for Oatley, Mark Coure, is encouraging everyone to check their eligibility for cost of living savings through Service NSW.
Mr Coure has noted that there are over 70 rebates and savings initiatives on offer to cater for individuals of all ages, incomes and locations.
“The past 18 months have been difficult on all members of our community and I want to assure everyone that the NSW Government has their back,” Mr Coure said.
“The latest COVID-19 restrictions have affected many workers and households across the Greater Sydney region and these savings and rebates through Service NSW can help ease the burden of financial hardship.”
Service NSW centres at Hurstville, Roselands and Rockdale are all eligible venues for walk in appointments. However, online access options are encouraged at this time as per the latest health advice.
“The Service NSW centre in Hurstville alone has held over 1800 appointments with an average saving per person of $675. In total, more than $908,000 has been claimed through the centre and this is fantastic news for local residents and their families.”
“The latest data has shown that the National Parks Concession Pass and the Low Income Household Rebate are among the most accessed services across the St George area.”
Additional cost of living rebates and savings offered through Service NSW include:
