Nominations officially open for the 2024 St George Community Awards

Member for Oatley, Mark Coure, has officially opened nominations for the 14th annual St George Community Awards.

“This year is set to be one of our biggest ever and I would like to encourage everyone in our community to nominate an individual, community group or business that is deserving of an award,” Mr Coure said.

“We have eight categories open this year and my focus will be on awarding those who often receive little recognition for the work they do. They are the unsung heroes who make the St George community a great place to live, work and raise a family.”

“Volunteering is one of the cornerstones of our community and I believe that it is so important to celebrate those who donate their time, talent and energy so that others can thrive.”

Nominations can be submitted via: https://markcoure.com.au/st-george-community-awards-nomination or a paper form can be obtained by calling Mr Coure’s office on (02) 9580 9349 or emailing oatley@parliament.nsw.gov.au.

Nominations close at 5pm, 30 September 2024.

An award ceremony will be held in November for award recipients and their families.
