New Toilet Block for GRC Oatley

Georges River College Oatley Senior Campus is set to benefit from a $50,000 investment by the NSW Government to construct a new toilet block on their school oval.

Member for Oatley, Mark Coure visited the school last week to announce the funding with Principal Anna Girginis and members of the GRC Oatley Support Unit.

“I am thrilled that GRC Oatley was successful in receiving funding to construct this new toilet block which will benefit students, teachers and the many sporting codes which utilise the playing fields at the school.” Mr Coure said.

“GRC Oatley is a fantastic, inclusive and well-equipped senior school and this investment will go a long way to ensuring that local students have access to the very best educational institutions.”

Georges River College Oatley Senior Campus Principal, Anna Girginis welcomed the funding announcement.

“We are thrilled to have received a $50,000 grant from the state government. The grant will go towards the next stage of our school redevelopment plan – building a new facility for our school oval consisting of toilets, showers and change rooms.” Principal Girginis said.

“We aim to create a better place for the students in our local area and this resource will benefit students from GRC Oatley, local primary schools and sporting clubs who use our facilities weekly”.

The NSW Government is investing $8.6 billion in school infrastructure over the next four years, continuing its program to deliver 160 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW.
