New Marist South Hurstville Campus Bus Service Up And Running

Local high school students are benefiting from a new direct and dedicated school bus service from Lugarno to the new Marist College South Hurstville campus.

The new school service partially follows the route of the existing 943 bus service between the intersection of Tate Place and Forest Road in Lugarno and Marist College Penshurst. It then continues to Marist College South Hurstville via Mortdale Station.

The morning service commences at 7:53am from Tate Place with the afternoon run starting from the school at 3:07pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 2:30pm on Thursday.

The new service is labelled S140 in the morning and S141 in the afternoon and is operated by Punchbowl Bus Company.

“This is a great win for students and their parents, many of whom have spoken to me regarding the need for transport options to and from the new Marist College South Hurstville Campus,” Mr Coure said.

“This new dedicated school service is connecting the existing Marist College Penshurst campus to the new campus at South Hurstville, assisting families who will have students at both campuses.”

“I want to thank the many parents and community members who have contacted me about this issue and I am proud to be delivering this vital bus service for the students who attend the South Hurstville campus.”
